Administration Team
Our Expanded Learning Program is led by a dedicated team of directors who bring passion, experience, and creativity to each school site. Each director plays a vital role in building safe, engaging, and supportive spaces where students can learn, play, and grow. Get to know the leaders who help shape our programs and ensure that every child and family feels welcomed into our community.

Program Co-Director
Mandy Chesley-Park
Mandy has directed MAUSD’s Expanded Learning Program for over eight years, guiding it through major transitions and growth. She began as a tutor and now leads a strong team of staff and workshop leaders who make the program thrive across five elementary schools. With a BS in English and an MFA in Nonfiction Writing, Mandy brings both teaching and leadership experience to her role. She is passionate about writing, a skill she uses to secure grants for ELP, and at her core she is a wife, mother, teacher, and joyful program director.

Program Co-Director
John Amory
John has worked with ELP in a variety of roles over the last 10 years. As an ELP Director he enjoys building new partnerships, training new staff, and getting to know new students at our five sites. John is currently working on his Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Vermont State University. John loves scuba diving, sailing, and all things water along with painting with his daughter. He lives in Lincoln with his family and beloved dog Ruth.

Family Support Coordinator
Kristi Bedard is a sixth-generation Vermonter with over 25 years of experience in education. She currently serves as Program Director/Associate Director at the Bristol Family Center, bringing a passion for emergent curriculum that encourages children to explore questions through hands-on learning. As an active community member, Kristi enjoys introducing children to volunteerism, helping them discover their place in the community. She has worked with the ELP program for many years, an experience that has allowed her to grow while connecting with amazing children and families.

Jennifer Wendel
Hi everyone, I am Jen Wendel, and I have been fortunate enough to be part of after-school and summer programming in the Bristol community for more than 25 years! I enjoy music, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family. I can't wait to see lots of familiar faces and get to know some new ones, while we create incredible summer memories together!

Director of Arts & Enrichment
Jennifer Allred
Jen Allred is a piano and voice instructor with 30 years of experience guiding young artists in music and theater. She enjoys participating in community theater, directing the fall musical at Mt Abraham Middle/High School and the MAUSD ELP Middle School Musical, and running a six-week summer music and theater program through the MAUSD Expanded Learning Program. Jen is passionate about building community through the arts and is looking forward to her new role with ELP.
